World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD), 21 March, is a global awareness day which has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012. The date for WDSD being the 21st day of the 3rd month, was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome. On March 21 you can wear colorful socks to show your support! Separated, stuck at homes but united!

During Christmas break we were all staying at homes and we were adviced to not visit anyone. We didn't want anyone to feel alone and lonely so we decided to ask our students to work at homes and prepare different things connected with Christmas. First, we asked them to prepare Christmas cards: Then we asked them to send those cards to old neighbours and other lonely people. The cards were sent via snail mail or thrown directly into mail boxes of those people: Because everyone was bored at homes, we asked students to send photos of different xmas decorations that they did themselves: And we also decided to share photos of our gingerbread creations:

We started a new school year in September. All classes went to school. At the ended of October the government decided that students from Year 4 to Year 8 should stay at home and have lessons online. At the end of November also students from Year 1 to Year 3 were forced to stay at home and have lessons online. In February younger students came back to school while older are still at homes and have lessons online. Our school is divided and while younger students come to school and can enjoy spending time together, the older students meet online only and we do everything online. Here's a video of younger students who were able to enjoy Valentine's Day at school:
